Well, occasionally we like to have a flutter on the horses, we admit. The Grand National is always worth a punt and another of our favourite races is the Cheltenham Gold Cup which is kicking off tomorrow (have you ever been?- the atmosphere is brilliant, especially if you like your Guiness).
And we are particularly excited this year, as Paddy Power are paying out on the first FIVE places on each way bets for the race. You’ll get 1/4 odds.
Paddy Power Gold Cup Day is on Saturday 13th November- for many racing enthusiasts, this is the day when the new Jump racing season really gets going.
The Paddy Power Gold Cup celebrates its 50th birthday this year and it’s got a fantastic pedigree- many of the sport’s top names have won the race, from Tom Dreaper and Pat Taaffe in the early days, to AP McCoy and Jonjo O’Neill in recent years.
Our tip for the race? Who is going to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup? Well, as much as we hate sticking our neck out, we like Mad Max for an each way bet. But don’t shoot the messenger if he limps home!
