Tom Cruise went on from this film to become one of the biggest Hollywood stars of all time, starring in the Mission Impossible series, War of the Worlds, Eyes Wide Shut, Jerry Maguire, and Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman to name a few. Risky Business was probably the movie that catapulted him to stardom and the first movie in which he wore serious 80s shades (Wayfarers on that occasion, Aviators obviously when he was buzzing around in jets.)
