Jacks or Better video poker is perhaps the most popular variant out there- you play against the house as opposed to other players, and the main aim of the game is to build good poker hands to trigger payouts (which kick off when you get a pair of jacks or better as the name suggests).
There are no wilds and the maximum payout is 4,000 coins. The wins start kicking in with a weaker hand than other variants (such as Deuces Wild online video poker), as long as you have at least 2 jacks of course. But then, on Deuces Wild, you have all the 2s making up winning combinations as well, of course.
The game kicks off with 5 cards dealt to you after you hit the ‘deal’ button – in this variant, the machine will suggest which cards it thinks you should hold, but ultimately it’s your choice. Pick cards that you wish to keep, and leave the cards that you want to discard in the next phase. Then hit the “draw” button, and you will be dealt a second round of cards and your hand is complete. Easy!
Other variants have slightly different pay out- for example, try our free Aces and Faces video poker where you get higher payouts on four of a kind if the cards happen to be aces or any of the face cards (king, queen, jack).
You can bet from one to five coins (to be in with a chance of hitting the 4000 coin jackpot, you must play with a maximum of 5 coins. You can vary your coin size from £/$/€ 0.25 to £/$/€5.00, so the minimum bet per game is £/$/€ 0.25 and the max bet is £/$/€5.00
