How to Play Sic Bo
Sic-Bo uses 3 6-sided dice and you can various bets (which are set out on the Sic Bo table) that are all based on predicting which combinations of numbers you roll with the 3 dice. At its most basic, Sic Bo is a game of luck that is played with 3 Dice. You bet on a three dice combination, or on thesum of the 3 dice. Try our free sic bo games below.
You make bets on outcomes, totals and combinations of the three dice. You can place multiple bets, a bit like roulette and the odds are shown on the table.
Try them out on our Playtech Sic Bo demo or our Microgaming game.
Wagers on Sic Bo and Understanding the Odds You can make seven different wagers in a game of Sic Bo:
Dice Face: bet on any of the 6 dice faces. If you land your number on any of the dice, you win even money (1:1).
If you land two of the dice, you win at 2:1.
If you land 3 numbers on all 3 dice, you win at 3:1.
Two Faces: you bet that you roll a combination of 2 numbers.
For example, if you bet that a 2 and a 5 will appear and they do, you win at 5:1.
Totals: You can bet on the total of all 3 dice.
You must choose a number between 4 and 17. The payoff varies depending on the combination (see below).
Your Bet Total Sic Bo Pay Out
4 or 17 60:1
5 or 16 18:1
5 or 15 14:1
6 or 15 14:1
7 or 15 12:1
8 or 13 8:1
9 or 12 6:1
10 or 11 6:1

Other Sic Bo Bets
Small or Big: this is a bet that the total of the 3 dice will come within a certain range. If you bet on Small you are wagering that the total will be between 4 & 10. If you put a bet on Big you´ll win if the dice add up to between 11 and 17.
BUT- if any throw results in 3 identical numbers appearing on all three dice, you will lose entire bet.
These are the best types of Sic Bo bets in terms of your odds. The house only has around a 3% edge on these Sic Bo bets.
Triple Bet: this wager predicts that you´ll get identical numbers across all 3 dice. You have to say which number, (as opposed to an Any Triple bet below ). If you land this, pop open the champagne because the pay off is 150:1 but bear in mind that the odds of this happening is around 215:1!
Any Triple Bet: This is a similar to a Triple Bet except you are not specifying which number will come up 3 times. This pays out at 24:1, but the probability is 35:1.
Any Pair: Along the same lines as an Any Triple Bet but with two numbers only. Pays 8:1. Stick to the higher probability bets to begin with while you hone your sic bo skills or practise on a free account.
