Playtech Ltd. (listed on the London stock exchange LSE: PTEC) is a software development company that provides games software for online casinos.

Playtech powers many of the world’s top casinos online, including bet365, William Hill Online, Casino King, Betfair, Betfred and Mansion, and their casino software has been tested and certified by leading industry bodies to ensure fair play. The Company holds a certificate of testing from TST and an official Certificate of Prior Approval from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).

The Playtech Casino games platform features slot games, table and card games, video poker and a range of Asian games such as Mah Jong and Sic Bo. They also offer live casino games through their studio casino games service with webcam feed. They run licensed slots with Marvel, MGM, Universal and Paramount.

Playtech was founded in 1999 by Teddy Sagi. The UK based company went public early in 2006 on the London Stock Exchange under the symbol PTEC for approximately £550m at a initial share price of 257p.

The company does not allow vistors from the US to play at its sites.
